Are you a parent, supporter, player or accredited coach interested in coaching cricket and keen to learn more about coaching issues?
New Zealand Cricket believes that an interest, whether it be in attending a coaching course or progressing up the steps of the ‘Coach Pathway’ is only the beginning. Cricket coaching is dynamic and changing.
As the knowledge base increases and the game changes in terms of formats, tactics and techniques, so coaches need to be kept up to date. Coaches require information, news and constant re-education. Issues such as the application of sport science, new practice methods and drills, the use of innovative technology, awareness of long term athlete development and greater care and concern with safety have all become pre-requisites for the modern coach.
The New Zealand Cricket Coaches Association is the perfect vehicle for you to stay informed and keep in touch. Membership is by subscription only, which is $30 per year.
Members receive:
• A regular newsletter – ‘coachED’ – which includes information on coaching, coaches and cricket events
• The NZC Development newsletter ‘From the Boundary’ which details current development activities in schools and clubs

• Opportunity to attend regional coaching workshops run by ACA
• A personalised NZCCA membership card which serves as a season pass to all first class cricket

Each year SPARC host a coaches conference. This event is all about bringing coaches together - celebrating, recognising and rewarding the role of coaching in our communities. The programme is challenging and inspiring, including presentations from some of the best in the field - both from New Zealand and around the world. There is also a great opportunity for one-on-one or small group sessions with some of New Zealand's best known high performance coaches. An opportunity not to be missed!
