Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club Pavilion is a modern, spacious building with panoramic views of Lloyd Elsmore Park. It’s huge floor to ceiling windows are framed by a beautifully arched roof creating a simple versatile space.
Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club is situated just off Pakuranga Highway in Lloyd Elsmore Park and offers ample off street parking for guests attending functions.
The Pavilion has a fully stocked bar which, on request, can cater to specialised needs of our clients. Bar prices are in keeping with accepted Club prices, which represent significant savings over normal bar prices.
The Pavilion facilities of the Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club are available for hire for private functions. Hire of the Pavilion includes use of a clean modern kitchen and bar. Certified Bar Staff and cleaning of the facilities are also included.
The hire of the Pavilion on Saturdays and Sundays is restricted during the cricket season which runs from 1st October to 7th April each year. Please discuss availability during these times with the Club Manager.
Day Time Hire
The facilities are available for hire during the day. The Pavilion has a large screen TV suitable for audio visual presentations and a current seating capacity of 80 people. A PA system which covers the indoor and outdoor area is also available. If you are hosting a day time seminar or meeting and would like to hire the facility contact the office and we can tailor a package to suit your needs.
Evening Hire
Hire of the Pavilion is most popular for evening functions, so be sure to book well in advance. The bar can be open from 7pm to midnight. Earlier access to the Pavilion for set up purposes can be arranged. The Pavilion can cater for a maximum of 100 people.
Hire Cost
Evening Hire : We offer four set packages :

1. Standard Package - $565 Hire + $500 Bond. Standard Bar Prices
2. Budget Package - $405 Hire + $500 Bond. Bar Function prices
3. Full House Package - No hire fee $1065 Bar tab + $500 Bond. Bar Function Prices.
4. Mates Package - $320 Hire + $500 Bond. Standard Bar Prices. Only available to current season players. May require an additional $65 Special Liquor license dependant on the type of function.

Package 1-3 include an application fee of $65 for Special Liquor License application. The issuing of this license takes up to 6 weeks to process so please book early in order to allow us time to submit the application.
Security staff are required for every function. This cost is dependant on the type of function and requirements of the District Licensing Agency. The cost of security is not included in the above prices. Please contact Angela Dunn to discuss your specific requirements admin@hpcc.org.nz
Carol Wiley opens the Pavilion Café every Saturday morning during the cricket season for the club cricketers and their supporters. The hours are 9.00am – 8.00pm. A wide variety of food and snacks are available at great prices. Carol is dedicated to keeping our players and members tummies full while they enjoy watching their team play. The Pavilion Cafe is also available to cater for private functions. Carol can be contacted on 0212096963 to discuss your requirements.

The bar is open during the summer from 7.00pm Tuesday and Thursday during the season. On Saturdays it opens at 3pm.
We have the usage of a number of grounds around the Howick area. All these grounds are run and maintained by the Manukau City Council. These grounds are generally made available for Club use from the end of October through to end of March each year. Our main ground is Lloyd Elsmore Park with 3 turf blocks, 6 Astro turf wickets and 12 midget wickets scattered around the park. Other grounds are Pigeon Mountain (Year 4), Howick Domain and Ti Rakau Park.
In addition to this we are very fortunate to have the use of a number of Schools facilities throughout the Howick and Pakuranga area.
Here at HPCC we are extremely fortunate to have a number quality practice facilities. The jewel in the crown is our three lane indoor facility which is one of the best in Auckland for size and quality. These nets are managed by Dipak Patel our Director of Coaching who oversees our High Performance Programme.
In addition to this we have outdoor facilities at Lloyd Elsmore Park, Howick Domain, Ti Rakau Park and agreements with a number of schools in the area to use their nets after 5pm during summer. During summer these facilities need to be booked after 4pm and these bookings are managed through the Club office.

Welcome to our new on-line booking system for the Indoor Training Centre.
This on-line booking system is a trial at this stage, but should it prove successful the Club will look to continue and improve this option.
Please take note of the following before making any bookings:
Payment is required before using the facility.
Should you require access to the indoor centre when there is no staff member around, then you will be issued with an access code. Bookings made during the weekend for the weekend will not be given an access code.
If you have booked to use the facility after 1.00pm on Friday up until 9.00am on Monday, then you will be required to pay by Friday 1.00pm otherwise you will not be issued with an access code. Regular business hours are: (9.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 1.00pm on Friday).
