SENIOR

Do you want to play for one of the most successful clubs in Auckland? If so the Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club is the club for you.

A recent three-peat one day winner, a National club of the year winner and the provider of many current Auckland Ace players - Kyle Mills, Andrew DeBoorder, Colin De Grandhome, Gareth Haynes, Andy McKay, Greg Morgan, New Zealand U-19 Players, Auckland 'A' and many Auckland U-19 players, as well as current Black Cap Kyle Mills and former black caps Nash, Walmsley, Walker, Pocock, Stacy, Barrett and Congdon.

With arguably the best clubhouse in New Zealand the players are backed up with a progressive Board and capable administration staff.

Season Start

The season commencement date is still to be confirmed by Auckland Cricket but we would expect Premier and Premier Reserve to start early October with the balance of the teams starting after Labour Weekend.

We cater for both the top end as well as the club cricketer that enjoys the game, the friendship of his fellow players and a beer or two after the game. Age is not a restriction as we have two president teams who still challenge their old performances.

It would be unforgivable not to mention our well performed Premier women's team and the talented young women coming through.

Dress Code

It is the intention of the club that all players wear the club white shirt and club cap identifying how proud the players are playing for the mighty Howick-Pakuranga.

Coaching

Current NZ U-19 Coach and former Black Cap Dipak Patel heads a very strong coaching team, endeavouring to give players a representative hope.

Training

Most of teams train either one of two nights of the week depending on what team they are in. For those who have not seen, we have as good as indoor training centre in New Zealand which enables for year round training.
